International Cultural Day

Let's add some excitement to this spring semester with a vibrant cultural celebration!
The BTK Department of International Affairs, in collaboration with the BTK student Union (BTK HÖK) and the International Student Advisory Committee (ISAC), is inviting you to an unforgettable International Day on campus on Tuesday 18th of March !
This is a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate traditions, and embrace the richness of diversity of our faculty.
Would you like to showcase your culture’s traditions, food, and art? Join the event as an exhibitor or perform on stage! Register here!
What can you expect during the Day programme:
- A Cultural exhibition - show a map/graphics of your country, important characters or historical events, cultural heritage locations, etc.
- An International tasting– bring a dish, a snack and/or a drink from your culture.
- Performances – prepare or watch cultural activities like:
- Folk dance
- Choir performances
- Folk fashion show
- Or whatever YOU would like to showcase while representing your culture
What can you expect during in the Evening Programme:
Karaoke Night at Könyvtár Klub
The jury is going to choose winners for the best table exhibition, performance and fashion show. Winners will receive a special ELTE BTK merchandise.
- There's no entrance fee so just bring yourself to enjoy the experience or your culture to showcase!
- Please bring a reusable cup or a plate in order to have less waste!
- Don't forget to bring your flag and be in your traditional clothing if you have the chance!
