The main advantage of BIS is that it provides quick and easy access to building floor plans, making it easier to navigate between the various ELTE buildings. After logging in, you will see the campuses displayed on a map of Budapest and can choose between them using a dropdown list.

BIS is especially useful when used alongside Neptun, as floor plans aren’t available in Neptun. However, in BIS, you can search for rooms by their Neptun code. With the built-in search function, you can find the rooms in seconds, and the floor plans will help you identify where the room is located within the building.

Depending on your access level, BIS also allows you to view additional information about the rooms. When you hover the cursor over a room, a pop-up window will show details such as the room’s seating capacity and availability. BIS is fully synchronized with the Neptun system.

BIS is only available to university members. You can log into the system after authentication using your IIG ID and password. You can switch the language to English via the menu bar, located next to your name.
