A local student mentor can help you find your way at ELTE and in Budapest. Your local student mentor is available for you throughout the whole period of your stay at ELTE. Whenever you have a question concerning your stay here, you can contact him or her during and also prior to your arrival. The Stipendium Hungaricum Mentor Network was established by the National Union of Students in Hungary (HÖOK), which is the official student’s interest organization in Hungary.

We would like to welcome each and everyone of you to the Faculty of Humanities of Eötvös Loránd University for this next term of your studies and would like to give you some information. 

First and foremost we at ESN ELTE are here to make your experience on our university smooth and entertaining. We do this by organizing events and offering help with orientation and all kinds of difficulties through our mentors and buddy system.

The easiest way is to download the Papaya app and find ESN ELTE, then select "I Need Help", fill out a little data sheet and hit "Save my subscription". After this you are already in queue waiting to be paired with your mentor!

We will also hold an orientation day at the begginning of the semester, so if you are interested please visit us and we will tell you most of the things you should know.
