Between 13 and 17 July 2026, graduating students of ELTE Faculty of Humanities celebrated the successful completion of their studies together with their families, friends, and lecturers in the Maria Theresa Hall of the Gólyavár.

During the five-day series of graduation ceremonies, a total of 1,350 students received their diplomas. Among them were 747 bachelor’s graduates, 411 master’s graduates, 105 students completing undivided programmes, and 87 graduates of postgraduate specialist training programmes. We were especially pleased to celebrate 81 international graduates, whose achievements further reflect the diverse and international character of our academic community.

The graduates were welcomed by Dean Dávid Bartus and Vice Deans Judit Bóna, Krisztina Horváth, Orsolya Réthelyi, and Gábor Vaderna. Representatives of the respective institutes also took part in the ceremonies and congratulated the students on their accomplishments.

The events were accompanied by performances from students and lecturers of the Institute of Arts Studies and Music of ELTE Faculty of Humanities. Throughout the week, choral works and instrumental performances contributed to the festive atmosphere and made the ceremonies even more memorable.

We congratulate all of our graduates and wish them every success in their professional and personal endeavours. As members of the ELTE Faculty of Humanities community, our alumni remain connected to the Faculty long after graduation through the ELTE Alumni Community, where they can stay in touch with former classmates, follow Faculty news and events, and participate in alumni programmes.
