The ELTE Department of Indian Studies and the OTKA research group based at the department are organizing an international conference on Indology titled Tradition and Innovation in the Languages and Cultures of Premodern South Asia.
During the two days of the conference, renowned international guest speakers will deliver plenary lectures in the mornings, while the program will continue in the afternoons with parallel thematic sessions on: A total of thirty-six additional presentations will be delivered on topics including linguistics, research on epics and Puranas, Buddhism, literature, philosophy, the natural sciences, history, and Dravidology.
