A hagyományokhoz híven idén tavasszal is külföldi egyetemekről érkező vendégprofesszorok mutatják be friss könyveiket, kutatásaikat az ELTE Atelier Interdiszciplináris Történeti Tanszékén.

For thirty years, the global development of the internet has been accompanied by intense academic production, contributing to the writing of digital history as it unfolds.  While this work has been dominated by research conducted in the United States (based on the case of Silicon Valley), other histories of the internet are now being documented in other places of the world, allowing for a more pluralistic and decentralised analysis. This presentation, at the crossroads of contemporary history and sociology, will present these dynamics in light of the digital developments observed in Eastern European contexts.
